About the trail

Super Plus is a fast downhill trail that winds its way down the Lower Hutt side of the Wainuiomata Hill.

Start with a digger-built table section, then move on to a narrow trail that follows the terrain of the hill. Parts of the track run next to Wainuiomata Hill Road, which means you can veer off and head back up the road to other trails.

Super Plus is ideal for riders keen to hone their jumps over clean-flowing tables.

The trail is primarily for bikers, though walking is permitted.

Getting there

  • The trail starts from the summit of Wainuiomata Hill Road, on the opposite side to the map board and Pukeatapu Hub.
  • There are regular bus and train services to Wainuiomata and the surrounding areas. Timetables are available from the Metlink.
